
Dr. Michael Anthony Soucier
DNP, CRNA
Dr. Michael “Mike” Soucier is president of SLS Anesthesia Services with over a decade of healthcare experience. Mike is a graduate of the United States Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing, having served in the United States Army for seven years. During his time on active duty, Mike served as clinical faculty for both Baylor University and Texas A and M University.
As a Maine native, Mike has seen first-hand the effects the opioid epidemic has had on his fellow Mainers. Mike specializes in opioid free anesthesia and non-opioid pain management techniques. Mike is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and the Society of Opioid Free Anesthesia.

Michelle Breen

Michelle earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree from Purdue Global. Previously, she earned her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University, as well as her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maine – Orono. Michelle currently practices as a family nurse practitioner at HealthReach Community Health Centers in Albion. With over 20 years as a nurse, she provides primary care to all ages with a varied background from emergency room , inpatient, office settings, home care, and is skilled in and knowledgeable and treats those in need for Medications for Opiate Use Disorder and Substance Use Disorder treatment. Additionally, Michelle is recognized Nationally as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.

Torey Brown
My name is Torey Brown and I’m from Somerset County. I have experience in mental health, addiction, children with autism, and older adults. I have completed my undergraduate in Justice Studies at the University of Maine at Augusta. I enjoy writing, cooking, art, and traveling. I have two boys and two dogs that keep my heart full.

Cpl Corey Thompson
My name is Corey Thompson. I grew up in a small town in central Maine, however, I now live in Lincoln County with my Wife and 4yr old son. I have nearly 8 years of experience in corrections. My last 4 years I have served as an Assistant Shift Commander, holding the rank of Corporal. I currently am also a member of my facilities Special Response Team, allowing me to receive more specialized training in emergency response and facility searches.
Through my time in corrections, I have gained extensive knowledge in security protocols and best practices. Prior to my time in corrections, I worked in hospital security at Maine Medical Center and Mayo Regional Hospital. I graduated from Unity College in 2016 with my Bachelors in Conservation Law Enforcement. I went on to receive my Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from Husson University in 2017. I believe my expertise can help ensure incarcerated individuals receive the care they need, while also maintaining safety and security for the facility and its staff.

Dayna Fiske
Dayna Fiske was born and raised in Maine by beautiful Mount Katahdin. She has two wonderful children and a loving husband that she is very proud of. Dayna currently works at KidsPeace New England in Millinocket, a Special Purpose Private School. She has been there for the past 8 years with a population of students that are on the autism spectrum and/or have behavioral challenges in an education setting.
She has moved from working directly with clients, to case management, to her current position supporting billing. Personally, she has been affected by family and friends struggling with mental health that are now incarcerated because of their choices. Dayna’s passion for helping others, working in the mental health field, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, experiences, and overall knowledge is a great addition to the board.

Sarah Krajewski
Sarah Krajewski is the Systems and Training Coordinator, for Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine. She has spent her career working with a variety of populations in different systems, from supporting folks with intellectual disabilities, helping tenants in in low-income housing navigate complex networks, to advocating for folks experiencing domestic violence while engaged in the Child Protective System. For the last six years, Sarah has been at SASSMM, working with systems partners in the Midcoast area to advocate and support survivors of sexual violence.
In her work with systems partners she has focused heavily on systems education in hopes that it will lead to better outcomes for survivors. Her work educating partners on the Neurobiology of Trauma, Vicarious Trauma, Human Trafficking, and Trauma Informed Practices has led to systems and policy change.
Sarah is also strongly committed to working with folks in incarcerated settings, providing both one to one support and facilitating support groups. She currently runs multiple support groups addressing issues ranging from ACES, boundaries, communication, consent and resilience as well as a book group for male inmates. This work brings her more joy than most people get from jail.
